The Road King trailer is built on three axles with air suspension, with an optional rear steer axle for added manoeuvrability. Three axles on the trailer keep the maximum axle weight to 8 tonnes.

The Road King is fitted with an air braking system with load sensing and ABS and no hydraulic braking. The standard model also features a roll cover, front view grille and radial flotation tyres.
